How does
truSmart Work?
Every truSmart product has a sensor that contains a powerful Bluetooth or Zigbee microchip, creating a mesh (an interconnected eco-system) that links your light fittings together and enables you to control just a single light fitting, a whole floor of lights, an entire building or even multiple sites of internal and external lighting. These sensors broadcast continuous messages to each other – creating a self healing mesh network, so that if one fitting were to be disconnected the mesh adapts and continues to run.

The system constantly monitors and analysis the natural light in the area, enabling it to intelligently regulate artificial light, dimming or brightening as needed to complement the natural light. This means only the lighting needed is used, thus minimising energy usage.
Adjust colour temperature and brightness within a wide spectrum, ranging from a warm 3000K to a cool 6500K. This innovative feature allows users to the ambiance and brightness levels to suit specific preferences and varying requirements.
Motion sensing technology adjusts the brightness of light based on the activity in the area. When no presence is detected, the system can dynamically dim the lights or switch them off, to minimise wasted energy usage. When presence is detected, lights can switch on or brighten to maximise convenience and sustainability.
Using cutting-edge Human Centric Lighting algorithms to mimic and support the natural light variations that the human body requires for optimal functioning. Your lighting can adapt the artificial light to align with the body’s internal clock and positively impact mood, productivity and overall well-being.
These modes are innovative solutions designed to optimise lighting usage. Occupancy mode automatically illuminates the area when it senses presence and turns the lights off when you exit. Vacancy mode maximises efficiency – requiring you to turn the light on as you enter and then turning them off automatically as you leave. It means that if you don’t need a light on, you don’t use any energy.
Our SaaS platform delivers a comprehensive visual representation of your entire network, pinpointing the precise locations of each connected device. It provides an instant overview of how each device is functioning and whether devices are active, idle or encountering any issues.

This allows you to control the maximum or minimum output of light – meaning you can ensure safe, comfortable light levels that suit the environment. If you do not need to use a fittings full output, High End Trim enables you to limit that output to only use what is required – maximising performance and minimising unnecessary usage.
